Address Nutritional Deficiencies

Nutrition is the foundation of good health, and eating a balanced whole-foods diet is essential for optimal health. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to get adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals from your diet, even if you eat well. Your age and relative health can impact your body’s ability to absorb and metabolize nutrients, potentially raising your risk for deficiencies.

While eating real food is always your best bet for nutritional needs, supplementation is sometimes required, especially if you’re already experiencing signs of deficiency.

Let’s say you eat a healthy diet (i.e., organic, whole food, plant based diet with lean grass-fed animal protein or high quality vegetarian protein).  And you limit your intake of processed foods.  Do you still need a multivitamin or any kind of supplement?  The answer is likely yes, because there are many reasons why you might not be getting all the nutrients you need from even the most healthy diet.

In order to compensate for the changes in food quality and the difficulty in getting all required nutrients from food, I find that our family still needs a daily regimen of nutritional supplements.  It helps us to maintain a good balance of key nutrients that most experts agree are essential for optimal health.
Everyone is unique and you may have other nutritional deficiencies that require additional support.  Our family relies on the following supplements to keep our health at its best.
  • Pea protein
  • Daily multivitamin-mineral supplement
  • Omega 3
  • Vitamin D
When choosing supplements, be aware of the quality of the products. Professional grade supplements adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, have third party verification of their ingredients, and rely on testing for unwanted contaminants.

As a Certified Natural Health Professional, I have access to a wide variety of high quality, third party verified, practitioner brand supplements.  Not just one specific brand, but many brands that are used by health practitioners around the world.  I’m happy to pass on a 15% sitewide discount to you – in order to help you regain your health!

Not all vitamins and supplements are created equal, so if you have any questions I’m here to help.  I can share what I’ve learned through years of trial and error, as well as which brands my family uses and why.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about nutritional supplements and quality brands that are worth the cost.
